• Hellenic Officers and Ratings (riding teams only) from Hellas

From Cosmonav partner’s pool:

• Eastern Europe officers (from Romania, Russia, Ukraine, Georgia) and, for cabotage requirements, officers and ratings from Romania & Greece
• Officers (senior & junior) and Ratings for any type of Tanker, Dry and Cruise vessels from Bangladesh

Seafarers Proposal Process

All seafarers, either from our own pool or our partners’ pool, are processed by our head office in Nicosia, Cyprus.

• Regarding our own pool of Latino seafarers, our head office in Cyprus is assisted for local process requirements by our associated offices in Panama, El Salvador, Honduras and Mexico; company management has maintained strong relations since 1997.
• Regarding our seafarers coming from the Eastern Europe region, our head office in Cyprus is assisted for local process requirements by our partners’ offices in Ukraine, Romania and Russia, splitting with them the manning fee which is collected by Cosmonav.

• Cosmonav, in order to secure the most qualified Latinos professionals (cadets & officers), has signed MoA (Memorandum of Agreement) with Maritime Universities and Nautical Academies in Panama and Mexico as follows:

Maritime Universities and Nautical Academies

• UMIP (International Maritime University of Panama), located in Panama City — Cosmonav hires its graduated Deck, Engine and ETO cadets.
• FIDENA Nautical Academies, under whose responsibility operate three Merchant Marine Academies located in Mazatlán, Veracruz and Tampico, Mexico — Cosmonav hires their graduated Deck and Engine cadets.

• Cosmonav partners are reputable Manning Agencies located in Romania, Ukraine, Russia and Bangladesh, well known worldwide, who provide to Cosmonav, under signed contractual agreement terms and conditions, experienced and qualified seafarers as per MLC 2006 requirements and under Cosmonav’s careful screening responsibility.

Seafarers provided to Cosmonav by its Partners

The candidates carefully selected and proposed by Cosmonav partners are screened, interviewed and approved by our end before their proposal to our clients for final approval or not. Our clients (shipping companies) have nothing to do with our partners. The entire proposal responsibility lies with Cosmonav.
